Uzun Yıllar Otizimli çocuklara verdiği başarılı eğitimler tanınan ve bu eğitim sistemini yeni açacağı Aile Danışma Merkezi ile daha çok insana aşılamayı hedefleyen biri Selim Parlak. İşte bu nedenle yeni kuracağı Aile Danışma Merkezi ile ilgili bilgileri direk kendisinin dilinden sizlere aktaralım istedik.
Selim Parlak is one who is known with successfull trainings that he has given to autistic children for many years and who aims to instill this education system with more people through his new Family Counseling Center. For this reason, we wanted to convey the information about the Family Counseling Center, that will be established, directly in his language.

Sizlere, İstanbul Mecidiyeköy’de yeni açmakta olduğum, ” aba akademi danışmanlık eğitim araştırma merkezi ” ve işleyişi hakkında bilgi vermekten mutluluk duymaktayım. Bu mesleğe başladığım ilk yıllarda, yani 2003’ler de, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı, ismi OÇEM olarak geçen, otistik çocuklar eğitim merkezinde bir yıl kadar çalıştım. O yıllarda, bir sınıfta altı yedi otizmli öğrenci ve iki üç öğretmenle bir şeyler yapmaya çalışıyorduk. Yetersizdi sistem tabi ki.
Hello everyone;
I am happy to give you information about the “aba academy consultancy education research center” that I have just opened in Mecidiyeköy, Istanbul and its operation. In the first years when I started this profession, in 2003, I worked for a year in the autistic children education center under the Ministry of National Education named as OÇEM. In those years, we were trying to do something with six or seven autistic students and two or three teachers in one class. The system was of course not enough.
Sonrasında yine Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı, özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon merkezinde üç yıl kadar çalıştım. Devletin o yıllarda vermiş olduğu, 6 bireysel 2 grup eğitimi yetersizdi tabi ki. Ayrıca sistem kurmak imkansızdı. Sonraki takip eden yıllarda, 2007 ‘de kendimin de kurucuları arasında olduğum ve ortaklığımın 13 yıl boyunca devam ettiği bir özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon merkezi işlettim. Burada biraz daha sistem kurma üzerine bir ar-ge birimi kurduk ve otizm tedavi protokolü uygulamalarında çok yol kat edebildik.
Şimdi yeni açmakta olduğum Aile Çalışma Sosyal Hizmetler Bakanlığına bağlı Aile Danışma Merkezinde, yılların vermiş olduğu tecrübeyi, biraz da yönetmeliğin izin verdiği çerçevede aile ile daha fazla çalışarak ilerleme gayesindeyim. Böylelikle yıl içindeki mezun edeceğimiz, özel gereksinimli çocuk sayısını arttırmak niyetindeyiz.
After that, I worked for three years at the private education and rehabilitation center of the Ministry of National Education. Of course, the 6 individual and 2 group education, that provided by the state in those years, was inadequate. It was also impossible to set up a system. In the following years, I ran a special education and rehabilitation center in 2007, where I was among the founders and my partnership continued for 13 years. Here, we have established an R&D unit on building a little more system and we have come a long way in autism treatment protocol applications.
Now I am am trying to progress by working more with the family within the framework of the regulation, which is allowed by the regulations in the Family Advisory Center affiliated to the Ministry of Family and Social Services, which I have just opened. Thus, we intend to increase the number of children with special needs that we will graduate throughout the year.
Patentini de ayrıca almak istediğim, otizm tedavi protokolü sistematiğinde üç aşamalı model olacak.
Birinci aşama, çekirdek ailenin tüm psikolojik değerlendirmelerini danışmanlık esnasında eksiksiz tamamlayabilmek. Anne veya baba ile depresyon, kaygı, öfke, tutum, kişilik, empati vb tarzdaki durumlarını ölçen testler yardımıyla, özel çocuğa sahip olmayı göğüsleyecek bir takım farkındalıklar oluşmasını sağlamak.
İkinci aşama, aileye, çocuklarının tıbbi konsültasyonlarını neden yapmaları gerektiği konusunda danışmanlık yapmak. Özellikle 9 branşın, checkup havasında, takiplerinin yapılması gerektiğine inanıyorum. Psikiyatri, nöroloji, genetik tanı, metabolizma, gastroenteroloji, endokronoloji, KBB, göz, diş gibi.
Üçüncü aşama, ailenin çocuğuyla bağ kurmasını sağlamak adına adımlar atmasını hızlandırmak olacak. Aba terapi aile danışmanlığı, ebeveynli oyun aile danışmanlığı, dil konuşma aile danışmanlığı, ergoterapi aile danışmanlığı vb. konularda, yurtdışından Boston’dan supervizörlük alarak, Türkiye’deki bazı üniversitelerde ki akademisyenlerden de supervizörlük alarak yola devam etmeyi planlamaktayım.
En başta da dediğim gibi bu merkezin birincil amacı, özel gereksinimli çocuğa sahip ailelerin çocuklarının gelişimlerinde, hız kazanmalarına yardımcı olmak.
Benim bir hayat felsefem var. Yol eşittir hız çarpı zaman. Bunu kurumumun bir nevi sloganı gibi düşünerek yol almayı planlamaktayım. Okuyucularımıza gururla duyururum.
It will be a three-stage model in autism treatment protocol systematics, which I would like to patent.
The first stage is to be able to complete all psychological evaluations of the elementary family completely during counseling. To provide a certain level of awareness with the mother or father with the help of tests that measure their depression, anxiety, anger, attitude, personality, empathy etc. kind of tests.
The second stage is to advise the family on why their children should get their medical consultations. I believe that 9 branches, especially in the checkup mood, should be followed. Such as psychiatry, neurology, genetic diagnosis, metabolism, gastroenterology, endocronology, ENT, eyes, teeth.
The third step will be to speed up the family’s steps to ensure for family to bond with their child. In some way I plan to continue by taking supervision from Boston and taking the supervision of academics in several universities in Turkey for Aba therapy family counseling in the issues such as parent play family counseling, language speaking family counseling, ergotherapy family counseling etc…
As I said at the very beginning, the primary purpose of this center is to help families, who have children with special needs, to gain momentum in their children’s development.
I have a philosophy of life. Road equals speed times time. I plan to proceed by thinking this as a kind of slogan of my institution. I proudly announce to our readers.
